Favorite sport or hobby: I love to watch Laker games!! I am also an organization and craft nerd and spend my free time dabbling in different artsy things. When I have time and money I love to attend concerts as well as shoot firearms at outdoor ranges.
Are you currently interning? Where? Please share your experience: I will be applying for an internship at Jim Henson Studios for summer 2012.
Favorite movie and/or television show: Favorite movie is Forrest Gump and my favorite television show is Modern Family.
Favorite networking memory/ PRSSA memory: My favorite PRSSA memory would be making the decision to become more active in the Fall 2011 semester. I had been a PRSSA member the previous year, but only attended meetings on and off. The new board that took over really encouraged me to become more outspoken at meetings as well as involved with different events.
What is something you want to/have gain(ed) from PRSSA? A skill, quality or asset…Something I have gained from being a member of PRSSA is confidence and networking skills in the field of PR. Having the amazing guest speakers come in has not only made me feel welcome in the field, but confident that I am on the right path in life. PR is my calling! I have also gained lifelong friends that have made my college career so much more enriched just by knowing them.
Favorite PR class: This may be a shocker but 464! I made the decision to apply for the Agency course of 464 with Swanson. We developed PRactical ADvantage, a student-run agency, and I had the most fulfilling experience doing so!
PRSSA board position you are most interested in: Sadly I was never able to apply for a position due to scheduling conflicts and I will be graduating in May. If I could go back and do it I would love to take a stab at Vice President!
